FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Laurinburg Highland Hooligans Set to Debut in 2025, Bringing Collegiate Baseball to Downtown Laurinburg
Laurinburg, NC — The City of Laurinburg will soon be home to its very own collegiate summer wood bat baseball team—the Laurinburg Highland Hooligans—set to make their debut in the Coastal Division of the Old North State League in 2025. The Hooligans will open their inaugural season on June 3rd at Legion Park, located in the heart of Downtown Laurinburg.
This exciting venture is made possible through a dynamic partnership between the Hooligans' ownership group, the City of Laurinburg, Scotland County, and Scotland Post 50, all committed to bringing the thrill of college baseball to Legion Park this summer.
"We’re thrilled to introduce the Highland Hooligans to the Laurinburg community," said Alec Allred. "This partnership will not only bring more high-level baseball talent to our city but also create memorable experiences for fans of all ages."
For businesses and individuals looking to get involved, opportunities are available to sponsor the team, host a player, or purchase group ticket packages. To learn more, visit the Hooligans' new website and fill out the contact form to connect with the team directly.
